Jaycee Park is centrally located in downtown offering 5.92 acres of park space along the Grand River in downtown, on East River Street. Recent expansion of the park helped make way for an improved boat launch in 2016.

As a destination, Jaycee Park offers a modern play structure, large swing set, sand volleyball court, full basketball court, picnic tables, pavilion, sledding hill, and boat launch. With direct access to the Riverwalk Trail and Wide Walk, as well as 100 on-street parking places along East River Street, Jaycee Park is easily accessible by non-motorized and motorized travel.

Jaycee Park is also the starting and ending point for the Grand Adventure Racea modified triathlon where participants kayak, bike, and run across five of the City’s parks in one race! The Grand Adventure Race is led by the Grand Ledge Public Schools Community Recreation Department. The 2017 race will take place on Sunday, September 24th.

In 2013, concept drawings (see below) were created with community input to create a vision of potential future improvements. The plan proposed several improvements including: a farmer’s market pavilion, amphitheater, improved public access launch, splash pad, a playground with rock climbing wall, skate area, public restrooms, volleyball and basketball courts, and Riverwalk Trail improvements to connect Jaycee to Fitzgerald Park along the Grand River.
